Location: West Irondequoit (Rochester), New York
Proposed Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 2:00 PM–5:00 PM
Hours: 20+ hours per week, Guaranteed 12 Hours Per Week
Compensation: $30–$35/hour, depending on experience
Benefits: Legal Pay, Guaranteed Hours, PTO

About the Role
Family Concierge is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Family Assistant to support a professional family of three in Rochester, NY. This part-time role is ideal for someone who thrives on organization, takes initiative, and enjoys creating order and ease in busy households.
With a school-aged child in full-time care and both parents running demanding businesses, the family is looking for an experienced household professional to manage the day-to-day flow of the home. While the focus is on household support (not childcare), they value clear communication, follow-through, and someone who enjoys stepping in wherever needed to keep the household running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Prep four family dinners per week
Tidy and wipe down counters/tabletops (especially after breakfast)
Load/unload dishwasher
Fold and put away clean laundry
Occasional vacuuming of kitchen, hallway, and living room
Prep grab-and-go breakfast items (e.g., muffins, yogurt parfaits, egg bites)
Grocery shopping and restocking (put away groceries)
Strip beds, wash sheets, remake beds
Run errands (e.g., Amazon returns, packages, gifts, school supplies)
Occasional Special Projects
Closet and playroom organization, seasonal decluttering
Holiday shopping, gift wrapping, and event prep
Assistance with party preparation
The family currently employs a bi-weekly cleaning service but is open to transferring some of those responsibilities to the right candidate if there’s interest.
Who You Are
Proactive, efficient, and naturally organized
Detail-oriented and able to spot what needs to be done without being asked
Skilled in basic meal prep and nutrition-conscious cooking
Respectful, enthusiastic, and great at communicating
Comfortable working independently with clear expectations
Flexible with scheduling and available to build a long-term working relationship
