All About the Job
Family Concierge is partnering with thoughtful and intentional co-parents in seeking a consistent, hands-on, empathetic, and caring Special Needs Nanny for a 4-year-old boy currently residing between the mother and father’s homes in Greece and Hilton, respectively. The child is exceptionally bright and affectionate, however experiences significant separation anxiety, sensory sentitivies, and struggles with transitions. The parents work closely with the child’s behavioral health care team to provide the appropriate supports, and would include the nanny as part of the child’s overall care plan. The family is optimistic they will find a patient, experienced professional who is skilled in managing dysregulation and meltdowns. The Nanny should also have experience establishing structured and predictable routines, evidence based de-escalation/co-regulation techniques, and using visual supports while honoring and guiding a truly unique, active, and thoughtful child.
The Nanny’s main role will encompass establishing and maintaining a solid, consistent morning and after school routine that meets the child’s transitional challenges as he settles into his new Pre-K program. To maintain consistency and a positive environment, the family can only meet with candidates who can commit to the full desired schedule of Monday through Thursday, mornings and afternoons. However, both parents are open to offering additional house management, family assistant, or personal assistant duties for the right candidate to provide a more stable, predictable weekly schedule.

Ensure safety of child and others during escalations using non-restraint de-escalation methods
