All About the Job
Family Concierge is supporting first-time parents in Rochester, NY (West Irondequoit) in their search for a confident, reliable, and compassionate Infant Nanny. These first time parents are currently trading off parental leave as they adjust to life as new parents and are hoping to find a supportive partner in care when they return to work full time. The child will be approximately 6-7 months old at the start of care, approximately January 2026.
This role is ideal for a professional nanny experienced with infants and families who incorporate aspects of holistic parenting into their approach, while striking an appropriate balance of mainstream living. The family is eager to meet applicants who are familiar with elimination communication, child-led parenting, cloth diapering, and Montessori principles (or are open to learning). Mom and dad are experiential learners and hope to welcome a caregiver who can maintain open lines of communication, provide feedback from personal experience, and share guidance as they continue to discover the joys and challenges of first-time parenthood.
Their main goal for their child now is to foster a supportive environment, in which their baby boy can freely explore the world around him at his own pace - they are not enforcing a rigid developmental milestone schedule. The parents are optimistic they will find a true partner in care who will approach the job consistently with their parenting philosophy as it continues to evolve.
